Each quarter volunteer coordinators from local nonprofits are invited to join their peers for a complimentary luncheon and to share ideas and best practices on their volunteer programs. Each luncheon meeting has a program theme and is designed to provide conversation and tools for coordinators to enhance their programs.
At this meeting, we’ll share best practices for volunteer orientation. Bring your successes to share and submit your questions or challenges on the reservation form.
This meeting will be at Health 360 (2301 O Street), a partnership between Lutheran Family Services and People’s Health Center. Meeting participants will have an opportunity to take a tour of the facility after the meeting. The facility is located near six high-poverty neighborhoods in Lincoln. Health 360 has an integrated care clinic with mental health and primary care services as well as substance use counseling, dental care, an on-site pharmacy and programs for children, veterans and refugees.
